There isn't direct beach access, but you can walk down to the beach if you have time and / or like walking. French bakery just down the street, Chinese/Mexican/Italian food, sandwich shop, bars and more walkable in 10-15 minutes. The location is really close to town, and you can walk to do most stuff in Del Mar within about 15 minutes. We played some board games while watching the sunset. ![]() While most or all rooms don't have a private balcony, the rooms had a table and chairs right outside and those had great views too. Well-designed, and had a great view of the ocean which was perfect for taking in sunsets. The room was comfy with a couch, king bed, additional seating, desk, etc. ![]() We paid a bit more to get the bigger room option, and that was well worth it. ![]() The staff was really nice to our cat and gave her attention at check-in and check-out :D The staff was really friendly and accommodated an early check-in request which was big time as we had a maintenance project going on at our apartment. We stayed here for 2 nights and loved the experience! ![]()
